Bulbasaur the grass poison Pokemon. It bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The seed slowly develops. Researchers are unsure whether to classify Bulbasaur as a plant or animal. Bulbasaur are extremely calm and very difficult to capture in the wild.
Ivysaur. The Seed Pokemon and the evolved form of Bulbasuar. When the bud on its back starts swelling, a sweet aroma wafts to indicate the flower's coming bloom.

Metapod, the Cocoon Pokemon. Metapod is the evolved form of Caterpie. Using a hard shell to protect its body, it prepares for its next evolution.
Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokemon and the final evolved form of Caterpie. Butterfree's love of flower nectar draws it to seek out flowers, even if they don't have much pollen.
Weedle has an extremely acute sense of smell. It is capable of distinguishing its favorite kinds of leaves from those it dislikes just by sniffing with its big red proboscis nose.
